Next weekend begins rehearsals for the Bristol Renaissance Faire, at which this year I am to be an Evil Pirate on the cast By The Sword, and will be doing some amount of performing in the streets with swords and other weapons. I have had a tendency in the past to drop off blogging during this season, but I would like to try a bit more chronicling of my experience this year if there is interest in hearing about it. This will probably include: description of rehearsal and performance days, some musings about the nature of Interactive Improvisational Theatre, my struggles with Trying To Be Witty In Dialect, and various during-and-after-show shenanigans we wacky folk get up to.
