It would seem I was able to return as I had hoped. Everything is settled and mother is feeling better again. I will be taking a leave for the weekend, Hatanaka-san has requested my assistance with some things in Sumoto. Nikamoto-san will be handling my class and my work in the garden seems to be completed.

The trip home went well, though missing the flight from Kobe to Niigata made me having to say for a day longer. I can not say that it was too much trouble. It was nice to see mother again after all. Hatanaka-san and Shuiichi-san are also doing well, it would seem Shuiichi-san has still not gotten his papers to come to Sado.
