Man selling comics in Eugene
A picture I took when making a vacation in USA in 2005. A girl I knew when she was studying in Eugene, Oregon. I flew to visit her, and stayed in Eugene two warm weeks in May. One man was often hanging out on campus, selling some home made comics with funny caricatures and short stories. The young american students didnt give him much attention, but he did not seem to care, he stayed on. One sunny day I bought one of his comics, and also asked to take his picture. When I developed the film recently, 7 years later, his potrait stuck out - it shows a type of spirit you do not so often see in other places than the US.
