It's stopped snowing; the sky is overcast but light. I don't know how high the snow is, but it's too high for me to open my front door. Winter is now officially here. It snowed during the night.

It's probably not a good sign that my first thought was not "YAY SNOW" but "Fuck. Six more months of struggling to get up and down a snow-covered hill of a driveway."
