Frustration
My computer is now fixed. Dan did a great job at killing the malware. And boy, was there a lot of it. Apparently a lot of it had been building up over time. He also got rid of a lot of setup programs that I didn't realize I could delete safely.
However, my games manager is not working and I cannot make it work. Even the people who own the game company are telling me to ask someone else. I have asked the antimalware people but no one has told me a thing. However, the forum indicates that Malwarebytes thinks that the Game Manager is malware. I really don't know how to unconvince it.
And Google Docs just ate four to five pages of a story which I have been working on all day. It has been saved--over and over. I promise you that. But nevertheless, Google Docs froze...and closed...and now half the story is gone, and I cannot make it come back.
And I have to write it all over again.
And hope that the computer doesn't do something ELSE imaginative and wipe out my work AGAIN.
