I'm puzzled about something.
If a story is labeled "complete" or a "one-shot," why would someone post saying, "I really liked this! I can't wait to see what happens next!"
I'm glad that the reviewers like the story. Really, I am. Hearing that someone read something I wrote and liked it never gets old.
At the same time, I'm perplexed. Because I got three reviews like that this weekend. The stories in question are in the "one-shot" category. They're complete. The stories have ended.
Do the reviewers not understand that "one-shot" means "one-shot story, complete, non-chaptered, and at an end"? Or is this some fangirl method of encouraging people to write that I'm unaware of?
If someone knows, please tell me. I don't feel that I can ask the reviewers without sounding snotty. And I don't want to sound snotty. I just want to understand.
