I was in Paris for two weeks, which equaled musuems and shopping. Oh but so much more than that. And Absente tastes vile in case you wanted to know. And French people are nicer than you'd imagine and hotter too. But I think someone spit on my sister in the airport, that kind of stuff happens to her all the time for some reason.
Now, back in the states I'm back to working working friends working clubs working. Are 16 hour days too much I wonder...
So, with many of my fellow Kellam grads flocking to their respective colleges, I'm left in good ol' VB. Which is fine by me. I had two successful job interviews. One is to be a film projectionist at the VA Aquarium, which equals lots of extra $$. And months of training haha.
Now, the other. Yes, this is the most amazing job an eighteen year old would ever imagine getting.
I would be able to travel across the state to schools teaching children about marine biology and protecting the envoirnment & ecosystem. All my hotel and food expenses paid for. This job requires a science degree, but I guess I talked to the right people or something. It also pays very, very well. Maybe working at the Aquarium all the time for over a year is finally paying off.
Because its a traveling job I'm only taking online college courses that I hopefully won't fail.
In two weeks I move into my apartment with Lauren. We'll probably throw a big party or something. I guess I should buy bathroom stuff, like a shower curtain...maybe a rug too.
Oh life.
