It's messed up, but I actually do like politics

As much as it torments me, I really do enjoy following politics.  It's kind of like baseball in that there's excitement, heartbreak, assholes, nice guys, money, scandals, natural skill that's fun to watch, talk of controversial drug use, and LOTS of statistics (the only field with numbers that even truly clicked for me).  So, despite being crushed by the outcomes of the last two presidential elections, here I am on the verge of getting all involved and excited again.  So as CNN is telling me right now, Clinton and McCain were the winners in Florida today.  Yay.  I'd be happy if that was who the primaries came down to.  But no matter what, I'm all in now.  You can tell because I've even started watching CNN again, for the first time since they did away with the love of my tv news life, Aaron Brown.  So, onward towards super Tuesday!

And man, I really do hate them for shoving out Aaron Brown.  Now that I mentioned it, I'm turning CNN off again!  The wounds still hurt!
