It's raining. Inside my office.
Me: You say 'eee'
Kid: ow
Me: Good try, let's try again though (pushes mouth into position) ... Say 'eee'
Kid: ow
Me: Good try, but...
And then I realized he was saying 'ow' because drops were hitting him on the head and "ow" is one of only 5 words he can say - and eat, car, bye bye, and hi did not really match the situation. So "ow" it was.
Apparently the old man above me in a hospital room overflowed his shower this morning and as a result my office has been shower-like for the last hour or so. Joy! The good news is nothing got too terribly ruined, and all kids can use extra showers anyway, right? Right.
