Holy crap!!
I missed a call during dance class. I had checked my phone near the end of class and didn't recognize the number, but had seen that they left a voice mail. It completely slipped my mind until midnight when I finally listened to it.
It was in response to a PA position that I had applied for on Tuesday on a lark.
I freaking got it! It's unpaid, but I got it! Holy crap.
The only downside is that I have an unemployment phone interview scheduled for Monday between 1pm and 3pm. This is smack dab in the middle of the first day. Not cool. I will have to reschedule it, which means delaying my unemployment benefits even more. It's probably unprofessional to just take a call in the middle of the shoot. If it comes right at 1, it should be 1st meal break (since that is 5 hours into the day and the day starts at 8am), but I am sure I won't be that lucky.
I think I will try calling first thing tomorrow to reschedule, which might be difficult considering every other time I have tried to call I haven't been able to get through. Gah!
I just checked the website and although my letter says that I will be called, the site has instructions for calling into the line for the interview. I am so confused!
