Happy Pi Day!
I joined that Blockbuster Total Access thing that's like Netflix.
So far we've watched 'Once' (awesome!) and 'Death at a Funeral' (freaking hilarious!)
The music in 'Once' was fabulous and the story was wonderfully real. I really like the relaxed style of story telling. Much of it was done through the songs, but it wasn't forced. It wasn't quite a full blown musical, but it wasn't quite 'just a movie'. It was a great mix and a wonderful hybrid.
By far the best thing about 'Death at a Funeral' was Alan Tudyk. I couldn't stop giggling when he was on screen. The whole thing was hilarious though.
Next up will be 'The Queen' and 'Namesake'
