Jim and I went to his parents house down in Cape May this weekend. We had a good time on Friday. We got to play mini golf (I hit a a hole in one on a par 3 hole), went roller blading, swam a little, and then did the family BBQ thing. Unfortunately there was significant rain in the Cape May/Wildwood region that night so the fireworks got cancelled. No flashy lights for me....
We ended up coming home earlier on Saturday then we intended, more rain was there to be had and we figured we'd at least avoid any traffic. But we figured we could entertain ourselves at home so we bought a new Wii game, rented a movie, and ignored both in favor of Babylon 5 and Killer Bunnies. It was a good night.
Still loving the Wii. The new game is Rayman's Raving Rabbids. My arms hurt. Love the dancing challenge. The outhouse one sucks. Jim and I did it as a cooperative effort. Oh... and it's fun to shoot evil bunnies with toilet plungers. Running seemed easy enough but I'm pretty sure it's why my arms hurt so much. I would very much like to acquire a Wii Fit. The roomie got to play with the one owned by
netcow over at her place on the 4th and insists that I will love it every much as I think I might and that I really do want one. And I do want one. I like the concept of snowboarding but the "cold" and "might break a bone or three" parts are deal breakers for me. A Wii could be my best option for having some of the fun while avoiding the undesirable side effects.
Work "sucks". Not really but we are in the middle of a major system changeover and tomorrow is d-day. I need to be in way too early. Goodnight.
P.S. Will
