Alone
The boys have gone to dinner for seafood. As I thought Jim deserved some with his dad alone and I am allergic to seafood I am just hanging out and watching bad movies. Today was rainy as all heck and tomorrow probably will be too so beach time looks like it won't be able to happen before we leave. Oh well. We still made it to two of the parks today as well as the diving museum. The one park is an old limestone quarry. You can see the fossilized coral in the remains of the quarry walls and in the rock you walk on. It's estimated to be about 125,00 years old. I know the rocks I stand on at home are probably just as old, if not older, but the fossils really make it feel like you are walking on history. Kinda neat.
I am, to my surprise, not nearly as sore from the paddling as I thought I would be, though my butt hurts every time I sit on a hard surface. Note to self: invest in a gel seat cushion before spending more then an hour in a kayak again. It's a worthwhile investment.
Tomorrow we are probably going to Key West. Then again we may not. The only thing we had written in stone for the schedule was the kayak trip. That whole vacation/relaxing thing goes to pieces when you overschedule, so we've just been going with the flow. It looks like it may rain down there more then the upper Keys so we might just bag it.
I miss my babies and fuzzy nuzzles from them. Apparently they miss me too despite the fact that they are in the very good hands of my roomies. I bet they will give me some serious attitude when I get home.
