I say GO FOR IT, CUPCAKE! I think it could be a really positive experience for you, and it's always good to have a project to work on/get emotional over. ♥
I'm just not sure how to go about it...do I write about her life...do I write about my experiences as her daughter...do I try to mold it into a fictional story...I haven't the slightest idea of what to do.
I say write whatever you think of first -- write about what interests you or compels you. See what comes out. Maybe it'll be fiction, or a biography, or an autobiography. Just see where your mind takes you.
And there in lies my issue...I just end up staring at the blank page with no idea where to start, what to write, where to go....so maybe, when I'm not so stressed out by everything else in my life, maybe I can get struck with that one great idea. Hell, I'm not even sure if I'm good enough of a writer to even get this kinda project out. *headdesk*
Seriously, I'm 100% convinced that I'm a shite writer. I know that a large portion of what I write is total crap -- but I still write it. Because it's fun, or liberating, or helps me manage my emotions, or because I just feel the need to express myself or be creative. Because I know that the only way to get AT ALL better is to practice practice practice.
I just wish I could figure out how to do this...I mean I do love to write and I'm sure with the right environment I could come up with something...I just can't seem to find it.
