Ok so Ive missed a few Bushisms.
Don't make me feel so guilty. What are you a bunch of Catholics?
No offense, I'm a recovering catholic myself.
I was talking to a friend of mine on the phone the other night, and she informed me that she's been taking classes at a church so that she can convert to catholicism. She is doing this so that when she marries her boyfriend "in 5 years" it will be recognized by the catholic church. I found this odd coming from her, as much as we have previously laughed at things like that. She grew up in a strict evangelical household and went to a small church school that made the kids go in the basement and speak in tongues to "rid them of the devil."
Bushisms: "I understand that the unrest in the Middle East creates unrest throughout the region"
"One of the great things about books is sometimes there are some fantastic pictures."
"The students at Yale came from all different backrounds and all parts of the country. Within months, I knew many of them."
