Please pray for him...
I haven't posted about anything too serious recently, but I believe this really needs addressing.
Most of you might have met my brother at one time in your lives, maybe it was a good experience, maybe a bad experience... I want you to forget about the bad at the moment and get over yourselves. If you can't I hope for my sake that you can bite your lip and do this little favor for me.
Recently my family has been going through a lot of problems, starting when my sister Rachel married Billy. It started going down hill around Christmas, when there was a small issue with an overly protective parent and Billy's father. It then led to a few months later when Billy attacked my father. I don't think it is my sister so much as Billy and his father who are causing the issues.
Now since you are caught up to things, here is the real reason I am posting. My older brother, Jacob, who has been attending a community college in Seattle, is currently sitting in the Clark county jail awaiting his trial. There had been a warrant out for his arrest before he moved, in which he didn't know anything about, for an incident that had happened ten years ago (he had long since been seeking councelling because of it). He is currently facing 8-9 charges and is facing 50 years if he is proven guilty. He is not guilty of the charges and to make things worse, my sister is lying on the stand out of fear of her husband, we can do nothing about it.
I am posting this asking for your support, not for me so much as for Jacob. You who know him know he would not do anything so horrible to deserve such punishment. I ask that you who believe in any God, I ask that you keep him in your prayers, and those who don't I don't know what you do, but please hope for the best. He really needs the support of everyone. I myself am having issues being able to get to the trial because of work and school, I'm trying to get it off. Please keep him in your prayers.
