So... Recently I have given up my dredlocked and wonderfully purple hair and traded it in for a short black bob for a reason...
Andy Petrusevics, e belief.

**opening night e party performance. meet the e performers. free e balloons**
Andy Petrusevics has been making his anachronistic brand of ideological observation and commentary under the e tag for many years. Petrusevics has an impressive handle on the processes of television production and early 20thC modernist histories. The works are littered with references to the TV aesthetics of B-grade 60’s sci-fi, dada-esque typologies and contemporary psychological machinations. His video productions - video? tv? performance? - in particular transmit an oblique wit that appears at first glance heavy-handed and out of synch with the slick narratives of soap opera. Yet there remains something abiding about his take on the dumb forces of power: absurd, banal and funny.
Andy Petrusevics is “a kind of radio receiver for the broadcasts from controlling cultures. He surfs the airwaves picking up random grabs and dumps them into a reflector world; the world of e, where all culture is controlled.” - Steve Wigg, ‘So You Think You Can e Dance?’ Andy Petrusevics e belief, catalogue essay, May 2008)
So... I'm acting in it... dancing around dressed as a showgirl in awesome little a-line dresses with heels that could kill a baby.
So... come along... watch me making an epically awesome dick of myself in the way that only I could.
It's gonna be an awesome night. Andy P is a bit rad.
