So, been a while since I posted here. Remember when I used to like do recaps and reviews of all the TV I watched? How the hell did I ever have all that time? Because I don't think the number of shows I watch has increased, I still watch a shitload. Well, the pandemic has kinda put a damper on that since a lot of shows ended prematurely.
Stargirl just ended its season, that was a fun show. As did Agents of SHIELD, forever. The last few seasons were actually kinda fun, and it ended pretty perfectly.
And shockingly, no deaths! Everyone lived happily ever after! .
Its the final season of the 100. I know things have gone in some crazy directions throughout the series, but they've actually been pretty interesting. Its kinda annoying to go into the 100 tag though, because people are so caught up in shipping stuff and things not going their way that they unfairly shit on the more recent plotlines. Of course, I say that, and I kinda hate this latest episode.
I mean, really, a whole episode seeing what Bellamy was up to during the time everyone thought he was dead was fine. But he fucking drinks the Disciples Kool Aid? Like when he comes back and Clarke tells him not to reveal she no longer has the flame, I was hoping they really weren't going to go there, but nope, he totally betrays them!
Perry Mason was interesting. With it being a gritty reboot, I was in constant fear for certain characters lives, but I ended up not having to worry as much as I did. Also, had to look up my last entry, which was back in May, but I guess I also loved Warrior Nun and Motherland: Fort Salem. The latter was renewed for sure, I think I remember hearing Warrior Nun was renewed, but it might not be official yet. I hope so. Oh, and Never Have I Ever was also renewed, so that's good.
Anyways, with first run shows becoming few and far between, I started going back to streaming shows I missed. Caught up on Dragon Prince, its cool that its getting 4 more seasons. Heh, after I was done with that, Netflix recommended Ashley Garcia, which I ended up watching all of, even though the 2nd season trailer was a lie!
Like it totally made it look like there would be some sort of love square or triangle was going to happen with her, Brooke, Stick and Tad. But that did not happen until literally the last minute of the second season, when after things were all happy with her surprise b-day party, she accidentally shows the not she wrote last season where she developed feelings for Stick.
Also caught up on Santa Clarita Diet. I'm disappointed it got canceled. Maybe its my own fault for not watching it the first time around. Don't know why I didn't, its definitely in my wheelhouse.
