TV commander:
Supergirl- It was pretty obvious that was gonna happen at some point.
Kommie Kara pretends to be Supergirl and attacks the white house after the alien amnesty act is repealed. Kara isn't able to stop her or show there's two of them because she's lured into a trap with Eve.
Who we find out, even though she may be a Lex fan, she did use the supercure to help her sick cousin.
Anyways, so Supergirl is public enemy number one, and thankfully Alex and Lena both know that wasn't her, so we don't have to deal with that drama. Oh, and General Haley believes she's innocent too, so nice to see she's not a total dick.
Walking Dead- Pretty subdued.
But they did just have a bunch of horrific deaths, so its nice to end the season on a somewhat happier note.
Anyways, there's a time jump, and the kingdom has fallen apart- since Henry never finished his blacksmithing internship, he never got to repair those pipes. And a bunch of small fires ravage the place. So the Kingdom flees to hilltop, and its a long and harrowing journey in the middle of a big snow storm, where they have to cut through Whisperer territory.
Heh, they were worried about getting caught by the Whisperers, but they're not even there! The whisperers headed down somewhere with sunnier climes! Sounds like they're planning something, though.
But yeah, through all this, Carol and Ezekiel's marriage is falling apart (heh, Ezekiel even tells Daryl to back off- he knows the guy isn't trying to steal his wife, and even tells Daryl that, but he still can't help but be jealous!) and Lydia is just miserable. Like almost everyone hates her, which, I understand Alden is upset about Enid, but that's still pretty bold of the EX-SAVIOR to be the one calling Lydia out.
Daryl tries to keep her spirits up, but Lydia is so distraught she's on the verge of suicide. She even tries to get Carol to kill her, but Carol realizes this broken girl needs a real mother, not whatever Alpha was. So they make it to Hilltop, Carol and Ezekiel break up, and she heads to Alexandria with Lydia and Daryl.
Speaking of Alexandria, Judith almost gets lost in a snowstorm trying to find Dog. (Which, WTF, everyone takes shelter because of the big storm, but they left Dog outside?!) Negan rescues her, which gets him a little more acceptance within the community.
Legends of Tomorrow- Heh, people are pissed!
Avalance break up, and they might be trying to get Zari and Nate together?! Which is so out of the blue. Like of all the guys on the ship, he's the one she's had the least interaction with, so pretty random.
Anyways, I'm hoping Neron is doing some manipulating from the background concerning Ava, because it seems off. Ava being mad Sara didn't back her up, and did her own thing as usual, that's fine. And she definitely has always cared about maintaining order within the bureau- she wasn't keen on the legends at first because they're wild and unruly, but she has warmed to them since. Still though, she prefers by the book.
Which again, that's in character. What seems off is her being all, "if Hank wants to experiment on some monsters, that's fine! Like you guys used to send them to hell!" Which they eventually changed their mind, so that's not really a defense. But yeah, her being cool with doing things to the creatures to protect humanity just seems unlike her. She's not even human herself! So like I said, I hope she's being manipulated.
The Magicians- So testy!
Some Quelliot fans were freaking out that the show was trying to bring Quentin and Alice back together. Which, were they even watching the show? Its clear that whole escapade into the past was that Quentin is over Alice. Like past Alice was all "I love you, I don't want to lose all this!" and Q's is just like sitting there emotionless. rjv('Cold blooded!')
Their whole plot was about getting to a better place with each other, because so much has happened, but not about getting together. So like calm your tits!
Zelda and Kady infiltrate the poison room to try and read Everett's book to get ahead of him. Zelda reads it and discovers he's hoarding all the magic trying to become a god. Unfortunately, she also sees he apparently will succeed. Oh, and someone has locked them in the poison room.
Julia manages to unlock the binder (which needs blood, so Margo gave it one of her used tampons, which, gross!) and out pops a dude who has info. But not anything understandable, as Hyman has apparently been haunting the gang and trying to get Julia and Penny23 together, and he ripped out a couple of pages as he thought the quest was a distraction.
After they restore the pages, the Binder guy gives them the 411. So the Monster and his sister were created by some Librarians in an attempt to become gods. To get godlike power, they needed to kill a god, but if they killed a god, they'd turn off magic, as we saw a couple of seasons ago. So instead they found a loophole where they amassed enough power to create godlike beings, and then divided the Monster's sister into 4 stones which they bound to themselves to become gods.
So could Everett be planning to replicate the process? But yeah, MonsterEliot has the stones, and has cancer girl because she reminds him of his sister. But since cancer girl is too weak, he captures Julia because he needs an indestructible body for her.
Back in Fillory, Josh, Fen, and Tick deal with a water nymph, and in the process discover there might be a large well of untapped magic sitting under the castle.
It will be very interesting to see how these storylines are going to eventually collide!
