So on the plane ride up to NY, saw "Mamma Mia, Here We Go Again" and while the way things played out with Bill and Sam, the flashback with Harry is just weird. So he randomly meets Donna one day in Paris and is all, "even though I just met you, would you take my virginity?" And she is rightfully, "That's kinda weird and creepy!" but then he sings "Waterloo" to her in the middle of a restaurant. That somehow makes Donna to be, "what the hell, sure I'll deflower you!" and then young Harry is gone.

Heh, Bill kinda reminded me of Dennis from IASIP with "the implication". Like he takes Donna to the island, constantly hitting on her all, "Oh, this boat has two beds, but oh no, this other bed is full of junk, whatever will we do?" To his credit, he actually doesn't sleep with her until he comes back and she's pissed over Sam not telling her he had a fiancee (which to be fair, he did try initially).

But I feel they changed things around with Rosie and him from the first movie. Maybe I'm not remembering the first movie that well, but it seemed like they didn't really know each other. But here, Rosie was totally crushing on him, but Tanya told her to let Donna have him to help her get over Sam.

It was a little schmaltzy to have Cienfuego randomly be Ruby's lost love. Like, what are the chances?
