TV commentary:

Counterpart- How in the world does that work? So Aldrich comes around to see Quayle, since he thinks Quayle's the leak, and gets all subtly threatening and asking for a meet. I guess Clare convinces him that if he reveals her as a spy, he's pretty much screwed as well, like how did he not know he was married to a spy. Which, I forgot to talk about this last week, and was wondering, maybe he never knew the real (Alpha) Clare, so he could at least feel less bad.

But he was going out with her, which I guess makes sense, that's why they wanted to replace her. Heh, you can't really argue, "Oh, how sad, he lost the love of his life!" because he was a cheating a-hole who was about to be dumped until Prime Clare switched with her Alpha counterpart, and she stayed with him despite his philandering ways because he was a mission.

But I digress, he meets with Aldrich, and is all, "I know you think I'm a spy, but I was manipulated by Howard Silk!" Which might work if Aldrich wasn't involved in all this conspiracy investigation stuff from the beginning and didn't about Howard Prime and Howard Alpha being brought in. But what, since he does, somehow Howard Alpha, a low level bureaucrat who didn't seem to know anything about the two universes, whom Aldrich wouldn't even know anything about if not for Howard Prime showing up, is somehow a master spy who's been manipulating things from the beginning?

Oh, but yeah, since last week's ep was going into Clare's backstory, I totally forget all about the whole thing with Alpha Howard going with Prime Emily and Ian and that team and finding those people burning things.

But I guess finding out about Clare's backstory and the school put things in perspective, because we quickly figure out, "Whoops, that building they were checking out was the school!" So the teachers are trying to destroy evidence, and basically fight to the death (and taking cyanide pills so they can't get caught alive). They even, to the horror of Howard and company who find out after the big firefight, killed all the students.

And again, to keep up the "drama" Emily is all, "We don't know who to trust!" so there's a limited number of people who know about the school. Which will obviously lead to issues with other good guys, who aren't privy to the things they know and might think they're bad guys.

Other stuff, Baldwin kills Alpha Angel Eyes, and then runs back to her girlfriend for emotional comfort.
