TV commentary:
Lethal Weapon- Seriously, show? Though the transparency does crack me up. Like in the beginning, when they were sent on that noise complaint. There's a freaking random propane truck parked in the background. Its like, gee, I wonder what's gonna happen?
And then ha, the climax was at a freaking Chinese fireworks factory! You know things were gonna blow up.
Surprisingly, they did not have Riggs overhear the Murtaughs talk about him over the baby monitor, even though it seemed like the obvious thing to happen.
SVU- Okay, that SVU was just confusing as hell. Are they trying to blame the mom? I mean, Barba berates her on the stand saying she's trying to recant because if it was really the guy, then its her fault for falsely putting him in prison.
Which, that's bullshit! I mean, they act like if he had never gone to prison, he would never have raped and killer her daughter. No, "He may have been wrongly sent the first time, but he made his choices, its all him!" It just stinks of victim blaming. All, he shouldn't have gone to jail, and he ended up being raped in prison, which turned him bad, and thus its all the girl's fault for laughing at him, because you don't laugh at other people. And in prison you can't let that slide. So he showed her! He literally said that in his allocution. So does that in fact make it an allocution? He's basically saying, "Yeah, I did it, because she made me!"
Criminal Minds- Ah, according to my sources, Hotch is only in the first two eps. I get that the split was not amicable, but hopefully his sendoff does not involve killing him off offscreen. (presumably since he was fired after kicking someone, he was not allowed back on set and thus they did not film an exit scene). Regardless of the actor's behavior, I think for the fans sake they could just be all, "Oh, Hotch got a lucrative offer somewhere else!"
Like, since they're bring Mr Scratch back, I'm hoping he didn't implant some hypnotic suggestion (since they mentioned in this ep as something he could do, although possibly only with DID folks) in Hotch that will cause him to harm his loved ones or kill himself. Hotch already lost his wife brutally, it would suck for his life to just end tragically.
In lighter news, what's with Garcia and Alvez? Why is she acting so weird around him? I must confess to being curious how that's going to play out.
