TV commentary:

Lethal Weapon- I never saw the Rush Hour TV show, but from the commercials this at least looked like a better conversion. Its passable, and with nothing else on at 8pm Wednesday nights, I'll stick with it for now. I have to call shenanigans on the climax of the ep though, because that's some crazy psychic bs going on there. So Riggs has to go rescue the kid, but he doesn't want to risk Murtaugh's life. So he handcuffs Roger in his trailer. But when he gets to the bad guys, it seems he's stuck, and the only way he came out on top was because Roger rams through the warehouse window in Riggs' truck.

Its like, what the hell was he planning to do had Murtaugh not unchain himself, find the key to Riggs' truck, decide to drive over there, and manage to make it there at that exact moment? And then there was also the part with the sniper. Riggs was going to purposely expose himself and get killed so Roger could find where the sniper was and take him out. Instead, Roger notices Riggs' rifle by his feet. So he instead shoots Riggs in the foot right before the sniper gets him, and 1) he falls over the correct way that the rifle is within arms reach and 2) in that miniscule window he realizes what Murtaugh intended, figured out where the sniper was even though there was another gunshot next to him at the exact same time and he had the pain of being shot in the foot to deal with, and quickly grabs the rifle and take the guy out. Ah'm skeptical!

SVU- Maybe I mis-saw things, or maybe the defense lawyer is missing some obvious opportunities, but this ep was baffling in the second half. So as far as I could tell, the one guy was the one who killed everybody. She didn't do anything! But they want to hang it all on her since she's the only one they have. And then Barba and the chief are all, "I don't care if she's a rape victim, the public wants someone to crucify!"

The problem I'm seeing is the defense lawyer is acting all, "Yes, she was involved, but she also happened to be a rape victim!" Like I said, it didn't look like the lady did anything, so I figured the tactic to take would be to say that even though she had a rifle strapped to her back, she was under duress because her fiancee and his brother are a couple of scumbag rapists who brutalized her. At least paint the picture that she wasn't there willingly and the guy was just dragging her around.

cBut nope they were all, she was with this guy, therefore she is culpable! So the only thing I can think is maybe I saw the one scene wrong and she did participate in the shooting.
