TV commentary:
Degrassi- After finishing this season, all I have to say is Baaz is the friggin worst. Trying to neg Grace, then calling in his bet with Yael (that he only won because Yael withdrew from the competition because she felt her app had become toxic) for a date, only to try and use it to seem desirable to Grace. And then when he finds out Hunter and Yael might be a thing, he ruins their date by insisting they all sit down and discuss what this means for them all. It doesn't mean dick to you, creep! You shouldn't be part of their equation. Ugh, couldn't he have been on the bus?
Which, crazy cliffhanger! The girls win their tournament, only to find out the bus carrying Grace, Zig, Maya, Jonah, Tristan, and Tiny got into a horrible accident on the way to the game. Which, I have to call shenanigans on Northern Tech somehow knowing and word not getting to anybody from Degrassi until after the game. I guess maybe they just found out a few seconds before? Otherwise, its kinda weird no one said anything until then.
Heh, I could give a shit about Zig or Jonah, because they're both douches. Which means they'll be fine. It would suck for Shay if Tiny bit it, which means if anyone dies, it prolly is going to be him. And are they serious, just when Grace and Zoe are back on speaking terms, with Zoe saving her life the ep before by letting the others know they definitely need to take her to the hospital but not revealing Grace's secret, this happens?
I'm still hoping they were just going really slow with the Gracevas. Because Grace being into Zig is so... ugh. Like, why?!
Like I said, I thought the Zoe stuff was good. Glad she finally came out to Winston and admitted she was hurting herself. And I'm glad Winston was a good guy and not a douche about it. (well, the whole, "when you come out, make sure you tell people it wasn't because of me", while in jest, is a little douchey) Although how low is the standard set that his behavior is considered "good" and not the normal reaction. Like, of course he wouldn't hate her if she was a lesbian and wasn't resentful that their relationship was a sham (well, for now, hopefully they don't make him a dick about it next season) That should be how any person should react!
