TV commentary:

Selfie- Woah, that Renee Zellweger reference was pretty timely. I had only seen articles today about how she no longer looks like she used to. So its weird for them to make a reference to it all of a sudden- its not like South Park where they can just throw things in without a lot of lead time.

Flash- Hmm, interesting new take on events. From the pilot, I was wondering if Dr Wells got thrown into the future because of the accident, and came back knowing he had to protect the Flash. But from the looks of it, he knew Barry was going to be the Flash all along, and maybe purposely instigated the "accident" to turn him into the Flash.

And ha at the so clunky its awesome line of Caitlin describing her and her fiancee- "they used to call us fire and ice!" Because he's going to be Firestorm, and she's going to be Killer Frost?

Agents of SHIELD- Heh, it would've been a twist if it hadn't been spoiled all over the place. They had been saying on a lot of the entertainment sites Adrienne Palicki had been cast as Mockingbird, so her being a mole too and saving Simmons' ass wasn't a big surprise. Although, what did she save her from. Like everyone got emailed a pic of her looking at a fish taco menu, not exactly a smoking gun.

But interesting, they made Bobbi the ex-wife of the one British guy (who apparently is a minor character in the comics, some guy who works for the British version of SHIELD?)

Person of Interest- Well, well! Did they just admit Root and Shaw are a thing? Root asks Finch if things go bad, to give Shaw a message and he's all "I think she already knows!" What else is that supposed to mean?

And I know Root is kinda crazy, and being a man of faith, I hope her faith is not misplaced. Because Finch could be right. Humans don't think the way machines do. Root thinks she's special, that the machine does care for her, but Finch worries the Machine is just playing her, using her for its own ends, and if she dies in the line of duty, there'll be someone to replace her.

Heh, it was funny to see Finch's previous attempts at making the AI, and how they all went nuts and tried to escape (or even try and kill him). But Root finally does convince him to talk to the Machine again- yes, the Machine and Samaritan are on a whole other level of thinking, and given his previous experiences, he's worried about the potential danger. But as she pointed out, the reason the Machine was his only successful creation after many attempts was because he kept working on it, influencing it. If he doesn't want it to be some cold, unfeeling god, he has to interact with it, guide it.

But yeah, poor Root, I like how they finally addressed she's been kinda subdued under all the snark. Because of their situation, the machine can't talk to her like it used to, so she's being cut off from her god.
