TV commentary:
Bones- Well, that was easy.
Not that I wanted them to drag it out, but turns out the head of the conspiracy was that one doctor who acted like he was a victim. So, not only do they catch him, they find hard copies of his blackmail material, so now he can't use it as leverage to get himself out.
And again, its weird when they do the only one intern (well, two, if you count Daisy) thing when you have eps like this. It was weird when that happened with Nigel-Murray, and its weird now. Those other interns knew Sweets, why aren't they at the memorial?
Vampire Diaries- Things are a mess for everyone.
The Germ has become a layabout, getting drunk, screwing around, playing video games at Tyler's mansion all day. And since Mystic Falls is still a magic free zone, its not like Elena can come around and knock some sense into her brother-cousin.
Caroline dropped out, they explain why Tyler's human again, I guess the werewolf curse was undone, which also undid his hybridness. But that means if he gets angry and accidentally kills someone again, he's back to werewolf mode. Also, he and Liv are eventually totally going to do it.
Stefan ran off to find some way to bring back Bonnie and Damon, but basically just gave up and is staying away from everyone. Alaric is coming to terms with his vampness. I guess he never really go to deal with that condition a few seasons ago, because he died. But now he's back to life, but as a vampire. And since he can't go back to Mystic Falls because of the anti-magic spell, he's teaching at the college.
And Elena is off the rails. She mourned Bonnie, but Caroline was suspicious that she hasn't been too sad about Damon. And that's because Elena has been working the guilt heavy on Luke, saying its his fault Bonnie and Damon are gone. I'm amused Elena sees no culpability in this. She had no reason to go with Damon to blow up the grill. The plan was for him to come back. If she hadn't been there, then that would've been less people to bring back, and Liv might have been able to bring Bonnie and Damon back before Luke stopped her.
But I digress, so he gave her special herbs to her so she can see Damon. So basically she's been still with Damon, only a figment of her imagination version of him. The problem is, the herbs make her so hungry, so she's been hunting at the outskirts of town.
She tries to quit Damon, let him go, especially after she receives the devastating news that Stefan isn't looking for a way to bring back her boyfriend and her best friend at all. So she gives a sad speech about how she needs to move on. Unfortunately, it doesn't work, because deep down she's still holding on. So, she wants Alaric to compel her (since he's an Original) to forget she loved Damon.
At least Matt's kinda normal, he joined some sort of citizen defense club led by the Eureka sheriff dude.
Other stuff, so we find out what happened to Meredith, apparently she ran off to Alaska and married a pediatrician. Also, its weird Luke was talking about how Elena guilted him into making Alaric a daylight bracelet. Because they establish Alaric is still an original because of the whole Elena wanting him to compel her thing, so doesn't that mean he doesn't need a daylight ring?
Anyways, in the end, we see Bamon living a domestic life somewhere. Are they a couple, do they know who they are, is this real life, or is this just fantasy?
