A Month?
I haven't updated in over a month, and I still don't have that much to say. I'm still getting used to here and am trying to find a good job that I can work at full time now and part time when I go to college.
Planning to go to Philly probably Thursday and get a daypass so that I can travel all around. I'll have to take my camera with me this time and wander wherever. Last time I went I didn't stay very long and walked about fifty blocks in random directions. This time I'll have the pass and be able to make a lot of ground and stay there all day.
I had been waiting for it to snow to take pictures of the house at night decorated with lights. Though the weather has not been very cooperative as of late and so I just may go ahead and take pictures tonight or tomorrow. Going to get the tripod out and not only take pictures of our house but the other houses in the neighborhood as well. At least this time I can say to the police if I'm asked, that I was taking pictures of the Christmas lights. Hopefully they'll see the tripod for what it is and not something else.
After the last entry and just now I finished a server move and updated the domain. Which has been quite an ordeal. At first it was this and later it was that.. Finally it was all worked out and I'm now slowly adding pictures back to the gallery. I had uploaded the gallery about three times while this was all happening and since the server weren't sorted out all the way, problems kept happening and I kept losing pictures. So I kept starting back over and reuploading. This time I'm taking it slow and uploading a few albums every day or so to see if it messes up before I set it all up again.
My brother Derek is moving to North Carolina, to a town called Asheville. On the map it seems he is about fifty miles from South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. I moved a couple hundred miles north and he is moving a couple hundred miles south west.
Been talking on the phone more than usual to people from down in Virginia. Which means I've been using the phone probably once a week if not a little more. I usually try to only email but sometimes a phone call is needed.
That's about it for now, I'll have to make sure I update the journal sooner than a month next time.
