What do you do when there are no crisis going on in your life, and everything seems to be sailing smooth?

how do you view movies? as the telling of a story?
I guess I always thought of them as moving from point a to point b, trying to answer a specific question along the way. At least, that was the answer I blurted out when asked.

sometimes i don't know how to lead in to deep conversations with people. and other people i just sit down and am like. "here's what i've been thinking... what have you been thinking" with. is it a personality type that garners that? or is it the closeness of your relationship?
