the past event in solar....
I need to write down my feelings on the event before i forget them:
Ok, typical event, i did my thing, made a bit of money all is good.
Jumping down plot holes (literally speaking) always winds up very bad..now i cant even wear the main part of my costuming in play...
and as i sit around oop, or Ip, i hear bitching. IP bitching = perfectly great, its roleplay, but when i hear newbies bitching about how some people have all sorts of stuff and seem to be cheating at the sheer amount of stuff they have it pisses me off. These same people have been playing since they 80s. The shit they have is shit they earned, one way or another.
Its the classic symptom of " ooo i play another larp and im uber there, but when i come to SOLAR im not uber, but everyone else is....they must be cheating" oh for fucks sake, piss off.
And i have heard bitching about something involving cheating, high sauce, and shit like that. I dont know whats going on, I wasnt affected, its not going to change my look of hte game.
People hate kabal..(in play of course)..what should we do? FUCKING ROLL KABAL. No high sauce, no "twisting the rules" or whatever the hell it is thats the bitch of hte day, get a group of people who hate kabal, knock on kabal's door and serve them death on a taco. I dont care what ya got, with enough dooms, and slays everyones toast..
Those of my freinds that play solar, the above not meant as an IC statement, just a fact. if someone wants to roll another group. grab your nuts, get your freinds and roll them. plain and simple.
and to all you newbs...play for 5 years or better...youll get cool shit too.
