Dear special (spectral) group of random friends
this gal's life has changed drastically in the past few months:
1) -I live in Montreal, where I attend McGill as a Philosophy major.
2) -'Philosophy Major' was a hilarious administrative joke- I will transfer into Cognitive Science in the spring.
3) -I'm starting as a research assistant compiling a bibliography on natural and pharmceutically-synthesized Oxytocin.
4) -I've also been given permission to begin my very own science research project- will elaborate on that later. But one important point: I'm working with two McGill professors and a doctor from the U.S. One of the McGill professors plays with Godspeed You! Black Emperor. No shit.
5) -Guess who absolutely adores Chemistry?
6) -I've finally met a perfect match. I found him in an unheated wilderness cabin in the Yukon in the dead of winter. The strategy was letters with leaves. To sneak one's love in through the mail slot.
7) -Sometimes I feel unspeakably happy and other times I feel, as is said in the chemistry world, the converse of that.
