Oh Las Vegas
Well here it is, my trip. Vegas is, well....different to say the very very least.
Sunday: Early sunday morning we got in the car with our luggage and drove to the airport. security was a long line, but we had plenty of time. we sat and wait and i did some much needed reading. the flights were okay, connecting in chicago. we arrived in LV around 1 their time. what an interesting place. they even have slot machines in the airport! it was crazy. but it sucked, because im not 21, so i cant even "loiter" around hte machines. oh well. i have no desire to gamble anyways.
the next few days are a blur. from shows, to dinners, and the strip, i have no clue what we all did. but heres a quick recap. we saw Cirque du Soleil at the Bellagio. THAT show, O, is my fav cirque. it was fantastic! and thus my fav show in vegas. The blue man group at the Venetian was awesome. Now that is a different kind of show. we sat in the splash down zone, where we were victim to paint, twinkies and cereal. the first 5 rows of the theater had ponchos. it was fun :D Let's see, the variety show at the aladdin was also very good, and thus my fav quote came from the host: "bringing a child to vegas, is like bringing a hooker to disney!" very funny. let's see, oh yes the wedding...well, you all saw it online...lol. no, it was very nice, short and sweet. Red rock canyon was awesome! we got lost climbing, but thats okay! lol. it was incredible, completely surrounded by beautiful mountains! and you could see the layers, ugh, beautiful. that made the trip worth it right there. i love nature. theres nothing quite like fresh, crisp, clean, cool air, out in the middle of nowhere, in the desert, completely surrounded by mountains.
but i think my fav part of vegas, was the nonstop chaos. haha, no. i dont think i will be going back ot vegas anytime soon. dont get me wrong, its a very fun place to go, but its a bit too much for me. its like epcot, but on steroids. it was insane.
the flights home were turbulent and late. oh well. overall, good trip. fun times. but glad to be home!
