Overall Thoughts:
Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted? the beginning of my year was pretty aimless, ficwise, and i'd been looking for a new fandom for several months by then and nothing had really stuck, so i definitely didn't think i was gonna end up writing as much as i did. it's comparable to the pace at which i wrote last year even though i didn't quite make the same word count, but i'm pretty happy with it!
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January? i feel like khiphop rpf and hockey rpf are both pretty... like... "what the hell am i doing here, i don't belong here" but obviously hockey has stuck around for much longer, so. that.
What's your own favorite story of the year? honestly the pk/carey inception au!!! i don't know why i love that story so much, but i do. i also really loved the star trek au.
Did you take any writing risks this year? this was not really a ~risk~ or anything but i signed up for a big bang challenge and actually completed it!!! so i'm pretty proud of that.
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the new year? next semester is going to be HELL ON EARTH so just, like, motivation and energy to carve out time to write at all??? i really expect my output to dip just because i'm going to be so busy with work and school so... any writing... would be great...

My best story of this year: HMMM i am never a great judge of this, but i guess i'd say the best ~cohesively~ would be dylan/mitch accidental soulbonds???
My most popular story of this year: by kudos it would be the entire history of human desire, the daredevil claire/matt porn i wrote (hashtag marvel fandom), and by comments it would be gives you hell, dylan/mitch accidental soulbonds, which sounds about right, lmao.
Story of mine most under-appreciated by the universe, in my opinion: probably drunk marrieds? that's only because there is understandably not much of an audience for niche ncaa pairings, but like, i enjoyed writing it so much and thinking about it makes me very happy so that's really all i need ^__^
Most fun story to write: PROBABLY CAREY PRICE IS A VEELA.DOCX, that was hella fun. honestly in general it has been very fun writing hockey rpf!!!
Story with the single sexiest moment: lol just the entire rookie sextapes verse, i think
Most "holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: LISTEN... this year actually wasn't that bad. but i still love sin and sinning so i'll go with service rookie noah hanifin
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: either one of the long jack eichel stories i wrote this year, i realized that my perception of jack eichel was that i love him a lot... more than i expected... smh
Hardest story to write: i'd say the mino/seunghoon story i wrote for winnerexchange, probably because i was sliding hard out of kpop fandom by that point >__>
Biggest disappointment: truthfully idk that i felt disappointed about anything writing-related this year; i think moving fandoms helped me deal with a lot of the stress (usually self-inflicted, tbh) that i associated with my writing and approach it in a healthier way? sorry, this totally is not relevant to what is being asked at all but like, it's a new year, onward and upward
Biggest surprise: falling in love with hockey!!! even apart from the writing/fandom component i've enjoyed myself a lot this year going to games and watching streams and yelling at people about these players (and their gay love for each other) so thanks everybody :*
Most unintentionally telling story: UHHH probably the gd/top fic i wrote for olymfics. i remember talking to underhand_glory about this after i reposted it to livejournal but it really was kind of like writing a fandom goodbye? obviously i still have a lot of fondness for kpop as a whole, big bang, and gd & top, but writing that story was very cathartic for me in a way that seemed kind of Too Meta, in the sense that i was pouring all of my lingering feelings into it and pretty much projecting my nostalgia onto the characters. I REREAD IT THE OTHER DAY AND FELT A LOT OF FEELINGS, IS WHAT I'M SAYING.
Fic-writing goals for 2015: like i said earlier, writing anything at all while i'm supposed to be Being A Good Student/Adult is gonna be difficult, so i'm going to be happy at the end of next year if i manage to write anything substantial at all (this means Not Just Porn, lmao). also (like i said last year) it would be cool if i could start writing original stuff again, but (like last year) this probably will not happen. THOUGH YOU NEVER KNOW, the world is a strange and beautiful place and ~anything can happen~
