so, life's cool.....going up north this weekend to go sledding and i'm loving this weather because here the snow is up to my knees and there's only more up north. today i'm actually going to go to the library to work on my project that's due in less than a week. i woke up at about 1 this morning and wrote the paper that's due tomorrow and did some more questions for my religion class. on a non-work note, i have to thank amy and her dad for helping me out. i bid on magic cards on e-bay (warning: this next sentence is only going to make sense to people who play, so if you don't skip to the next paragraph) for those of you still reading, i found a deal where a guy was selling over 2000 (no that's supposed to be 3 zero's) cards from the Urza's blocks. he guarenteed at least 63 rares and hundreds of uncommons and had great feedback so i decided to go for it. i won the bid at $41.01, and so when you add on shipping, i spent $50.01 on over 2000 Urza's cards......i love it soooo much. also, as an added bonus, they already came in, and amy says they're in great condition. if you want to know what i got ask me in March and i'll tell you all of the different good cards that i got....i'm soooo happy.
Ok, back to non-magic talk. so, tuesday night: on tuesday, tom, carrie, and i watched House on Fox, then Tom and i went back to his room to get ready. at around 11, we went outside and played snow night frisbee. it was cold and snowing but we didn't care because we were running around to stay warm. my team lopst by one point, but that's ok. now i was ready to go inside, because there was one guy who didn't play very well and decided that since he couldn't play well he would throw snow at everyone else. he hit me with a snowball bigger than my head that was on the ground from a destroyed snowman. that wouldn't have been too bad, but when he threw it at me, i went to block it by putting my fists up. this made the snowball break around my bare fists, freezing them to the core. i was so wracked with cold that by instinct, i shoved them in my pockets. this didn't warm them up, but it did fill my pockets with snow. so yeah, i REALLY wanted to go inside and get my gloves that i couldn't wear duyring the game because they weren't water proof and they were bulky. when we did get inside, tom's cell phone rang. it was brian one of the guys we were playing with. tom told me that we had to go back out and help him because he4 lost his keys somewhere on the field. now, he doesn't know when he dropped them and it had been snowing continuously throughout the ocurse of the game. long story short, we trudged through the snow for two hours looking for his keys and never found them. i was so cold when i got to my room that even after i took off my wet clothes, put on dry ones, and got under the covers, i was still shivering uncontrollably. then i proceeded to laugh for five minutes, unable to stop. the scary thing is that there was nothing funny. i was scared that i was suffering fromn hypothermia, and i still think that i was. so, i was out in the cold weather for three hours, soaking wet with a mixture of sweat and melted snow on the sweatshirt that i was wearing. the night wasn't as fun as i thought it would be.
