So, last night was recockulous.
I was pretty sure life was gonna suck this summer, and I think my total lack of expectations has paid off.
Last night, we were going to have a Drew-themed party, but Drew couldn't come. So, Alex/Teddy came over around 9:45, being one of the first people EVER to find my house on the first try without eating a cock. So he's awesome.
Then we went to pick up Jon, who wasn't going to come to the soiree, but we were gonna get the vodka from him. So Alex and I chilled in the Westwood parking lot, listening to stupid music and generally bringing down the property values.
I should also mention I had to go back into my house like, 15 times before we left it, and still managed to forget the directions to Emmy's.
So, we pick up Jon who is drunk as a skunk, and head back to his place, where he decides to come afterall. At this point, we have a bottle of Stoli, a bottle a good Vodka, and 1/2 a bottle of SoCo. Jon sang most of SideShow on the way to his place, and then we stopped at Sleven to get cigarettes and such. Jon made an ass of himself. It was amusing. I did some dubiously legal things behind a cop to get to the Vienna TacoBell, and Alex and I get "crunchy wrapped in sexy" and a spork for Jon.
I let mine steer for a while. :)
Driving to Emmy's was rather uneventful, but there was lots of chatter. It was farther into Leesburg than GOD. Leesburg, you guys. The crotch of NoVa.
We got there, and Ian, David, Adelia(?) and Emmy were chilling and drinking beers. We settled in, toasted Drew and proceeded to drink a lot. I kept it down, cause driving. Had some great conversations, won a few hands of poker, and generally enjoyed the company. Emmy, you're a trip and a half when you're trashed.
Jon and I left around 3, and came back here. He had work at 10, so he stayed here for the nigh so I could take him.
We yammered til about 4, and then slept some. Jon snores like.. uh.. like.. a lot.
Woke up at 9, took JJ to work, came back and went to breakfast with the fam for father's day.
Now I'm avoiding reading "The Duchess of Malfi" by listening to Jane Eyre: The Musical! and well.. writing this.
Gonna go work on that. I miss my MAs.
