Guy on phone (thick accent): Hello, may I speak to Chris please?
Me: This is she.
Guy: Oh, hello, I'm calling from Dish Network. We're in town installing some satellite dishes in your area currently. I'm assuming you have cable now--
Me: Oh, sorry, but I'm not interested.
Guy: Not interested? ...Why aren't you interested?
Me: I don't own a TV.
(which is true, my parents technically *own* the TV)
Guy: incredulous You don't own a TV??
Me: No, I don't.
Guy: Well...*pause*... Are you in the process of buying a TV?
Me: Sorry, no. I'm seventeen and I'm not buying a TV.
Guy: Oh well, thanks for your time and patience.
