cliff notes
ok, I really haven't updated in quite some time, so I'll just blurt out everything that has happened in the last couple of weeks. My grandpa died on March 23rd. This was my pappaw, which is my dad's dad. It obviously was not a very fun thing, and it is one of the reasons that I have not updated in a really long time. So now that you have all been thoroughly depressed, we can move on to happier subjects.
I went home for Easter weekend, which was nice, except for the fact that my mother forgot to set out my easter candy. I know that all of you think that I am the hugest loser, but my mother has never forgotten to set out my easter candy. I then marched up to her at church and declared that it would not be easter until I got my peeps. I also went out with Amanda, Nicole and creepy stalker Rob that weekend. The following weekend was spent in complete relaxation.
This past weekend (whoa I think I just stroked out there for a moment) I went on spring retreat with cru which was super fun. Fun including a kickball tournament dealy(which I broke 3 nails in one play) and a ride on a red short bus. Ah yes, there were 37 people on that short bus, and I ended up getting very close with several of those 37. Anyway this bus was tight. It had all the seats taken out and 3 couches on the three sides, not to mention carpet. It would have been the ideal limo to prom. Also, the drive to and from the camp was interesting, it included me busting a move to old choir songs. Good times, good times.
Ok, now for some general information. I had applied to go on summer project again this summer. This year I had planned on possibly going back to LA but on the inner city project. Anyway, to make a long story super short, I ain't going. Instead, I am going to work at Epworth Forrest as the camp nurse for a large portion of the summer. I will be there from May 30th thru July 30th. That's 9 weeks kids. But it should be a lot of fun. I get my own glof cart, and I get to organize the nurse's office any way that I see fit. AND I get to work outside all day every day. The only down side is that I cannot leave the camp during the week. And I will be "on call" all throughout the week. However, I do get some of the weekend off. Saturday at 11 or 12 through Sunday at 3 or so. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.
In other news, my birthday is coming up, and if you aren't my friend on facebook, find someone else who is so you know when it is. But as of right now, its pretty much booked. But just know that everyone is invited to come to my birthday dinner/outing. I don't know where we are going to have it yet, but it will be here in b-twon.
Also, I am planning on doing the Every Fifteen Minutes dealy in p-town next Tuesday, so I will be sure to see all you p-town fold whilst I am there.
Also, it is lil 5 week and my weekend is just about booked.
