I KNOW WHAT I WANT...

I realize no relationship is easy, gay or straight. I view myself as a catch Im proud to say. I take care of myself, I can be funny, I can be serious, I communicate, Im smart (in my own way), Im loyal, trustworthy, honest, creative, passionate and I believe in monogamy. So why am I single? Id like to think its because I know what I want. Ive had people tell me I need to date more, go out more, fuck more. Experience in dating is the key. What the fuck are they talking about? Thats like saying because you arent a father you wouldnt know how to be a dad. If they had more kids would that make them better parents? I happpen to think Id make one hell of a fucking awsome partner (and I might add, I know Id be a fucking awsome dad, too)! Most guys I know go on date after date, are in relationship after relationship and sleeping with everyone in town (and abroad), seeking to find Mr. Right. What are they searching for? I unfortunately do not know of one gay relationship I would trade my singleness for All these relationships seem to be open relationships, which in my dictionary means fuck buddy. If it works for them, that's great ... more power to them. If I wanted too, I can get a fuck buddy easily. My ideal relationship is one-on-one.

So why am I bringing this up? I keep getting asked if I'm in a relationship yet? are you dating? Are you getting laid? Im so fucking sick and tired of hearing it all I could puke. Im just frustrated at always hearing people asking why Im single and blah blah blah!

I dont understand what happened to the good old days. Like my Grandparents ... my Grandparents didnt need to date or fuck everyone in order to be in their relationship. Heck, they only dated each other and theyve been married for 80 something years. How sweet is that? Does this ever happen anymore? How much experience did your Grandparents have?

The reason I am single is because I know what I want, and I'm not willing to settle for just anything. ... or maybe I scare guys off because they know I'm forever.
