Synopsis: Heechul is a totally different person towards his dongsaengs.

I don't know why people don't like Heechul.
I mean sure, he can be an arrogant self-centered narcissist, but no one really knows how he is except everyone in Super Junior.
Heechul is the real Appa. Heechul always takes care of his dongsaengs and would even tuck us into bed when Leeteuk isn't around. The cameras seem to always catch him at the worst times though.
I once asked Heechul why he acts the way he does on camera. "Nice guys finish last, Minnie. If you don't want anyone to mess with you, don't show a soft side. It's a dog eat dog world out there," he replied. I think Kangin does this too because he secretly cares for all of us, even though he won't admit it.
When Leeteuk was in the hospital, Kangin was right by his side while Heechul was holding Kyuhyun's hand during his time in the hospital. When Ryeowook or I had our feelings hurt by a crude comment, Heechul and Kangin muttered comforting words and held onto us until we calmed down.
"I can never be as strong as you though, hyung," I mumbled into Heechul's shirt.
"Sure you can, Minnie. Practice makes perfect," he whispered. After that I tried to not act cute and innocent. Instead I tried to be the cool, calm Sungmin. It was hard work though, I don't know how they can do it.
After about a week of trying to be cool and calm, I called it quits. Everyone liked me before and I felt as though my dongsaengs and hyungs didn't like the new me. I explained to Umma what Heechul said, but he only shook his head.
"Sungmin," he said, "people like you the way you are. You don't have to change just because you want to be strong like Heechul. You're already strong for acting like yourself."
So Heechul, I have one thing to say to you: Nice guys don't ALWAYS finish last, it's the ones that act tough.
