I was a bit nervous about Taekwon-Do because I thought just Alex and myself would be practising our patterns in front of the class because of having not done it on Monday, but luckily, James and some guy whose name I don't know yet also showed up so they ended up doing it too. James is now actually doing another grade, and he's three grades below me despite having only done it for two months less (so he's definitely ready), and we were explaining to him outside how to pronounce "pseudonym" and what it means.
Then, we practised advanced one-step sparring, which I'm certain I'll be doing at grading - then afterwards I changed into my Liverpool shirt and normal trousers and went to meet Dad and went to the pub to watch Liverpool ... LOSING, and being knocked out of the Champions League. The referee made some rather puzzling decisions, though - giving Gerrard a yellow card for no apparent reason, and disallowing ANOTHER goal from God, a.k.a. Robbie Fowler. We lost 2-0, or 3-0 on aggregate.
Today, I went to see yet another employment agency, and then went to the British Museum, which was really great. I'd have got pictures, only I didn't realise it was allowed until I got there. The British Museum is really nice, though - I spent ages in these rooms full of Ancient Greek carvings and Assyrian statues - it was really amazing. And on the way home I stopped off at Subway and got my 8th stamp (at last!)
Oh, and why is it that when I'm nearly home, with my suit nice and clean, a bird has to fly overhead and leave an unexpected "present" on my shoulder (you know what I mean, right?)
