30 Day Movie Challenge, Day #13: A Favourite Love Film
So, I don't watch a lot of love films, but I must admit, I did revisit In the Mood for Love.
It's an Asian film, from around 2000, and I quite enjoyed this - artistic, and it felt voyeuristic as I watched the main character chatting to his mistress. Its one of the films that made me want to watch more international cinema, and has amazing performances from the leads.
It's far from a typical romance film, because:

In the end, both the mistress and his wife leave the philandering male character; there are a few cuts, and it just ends with him in front of grey, washed-out scenery, with a bleak message that he will never feel love again. Definitely not a cheerful ending.
