My lastest mad dream

Aug 02, 2005 12:37

There seemed to be a number of tangents branching off in this one - not least one where I became convinced that The Dandy, a comic (aimed at kids) that we get every week in Britain had done a strip based on Millennium for some time, and I was suddenly getting an urge to read all these stories about Frank Black et al again, and I was like: "Gaaah - almost every single one is now up in the attic. I'll have to get them all down!"

The other bit involved going to a shopping centre - for some reason this resulted in us going back in time to a day when we had conveniently been there. At first, I was wondering whether to warn our past selves that Dad would be walking out on us, and then we got this urge to avoid them completely. I seemed to be getting really angsty at passersby, completely losing my cool with a total stranger for a very silly reason. Then I started telling Mum that we HAD to avoid our past selves because we'd get stuck in a "loop of infinity" (an idea I got off some 8 year old time travel series, Crime Traveller, and we'd get stuck repeating the events forever. Then, we were hiding in some maternity unit, which seemed to be part of the shopping centre.

We were in this room, and I peered out and saw our past selves outside - but they went into another room. I was warning Mum and we began walking through these rooms - opening sliding doors that made a slight noise when they opened, so people started shushing me, and I was getting frustrated because I couldn't do it any quieter, so I ended up losing my temper again and yelling at everyone. Wow, I seem to be getting very stressed in my dreams for some reason.

dreams, millennium
