So Shines a Good Deed in a Weary World
Today I heard a good talk at church about evangelism and how to talk to others about Jesus. I'm never sure how to start discussing this, but as I left the church with a colleague, into the pouring rain, he pointed out a guy who had been out there all the time, in his raincoat, looking cold, who was working on the pond outside.
So, then we ended up telling him about the church Tuesday services; it was my colleague's idea but we both got talking to him about it - it felt good to be able to talk to the guy about it.
Other things that happened in the office today included me noticing the guy opposite me looking very red; I asked him if he'd been out in the sun a lot - he didn't say much (he never does), but he gave me the impression that he hadn't been doing it much.
Also, one of the couples at my work is having a sweepstake to guess the date of arrival and weight of their new baby.
