The idea of service to one's country is a funny one, and to me John Kerry did not serve his country. His entire service record that everyone sees, the dashing swiftboat pilot, is that of the pilot before him. I will agree that Bush did not give his service to our country either in this time. So the way i see it they both were enlisted in some manner but neither of them gave themselves as soldiers.
Secondly, I did not say Kerry was boring, i said he was bored, he grew tired of the senatorial act and thought hey i bet being president would be a lark. (for that particular phrase i'm sure i will be crucified in response.)
Bush sure did spend his time fucking around in his younger days didn't he. Aren't you? Aren't I? God knows after all this fucking around in our younger days there will be no possible way we could CHANGE and give anything back to society in some way or form. Once a fuck up always a fuck up.
Bush preaches God and signs away lives? Kerry whores himself out to the Catholic voters as a devout Catholic yet he approves of a living being inside a womans womb having it's skull crushed so that the woman doesn't have to deal with the fact she wasn't responsible enough to keep her legs shut. An innocent life just the same is it not? Laci Petersen's infant child was killed while she was still pregnant and we consider it to be a beastly crime, if Laci Petersen had chalked up some money to a doctor we would call it a "choice". Well if that life is a choice, what makes it any different with soldiers, or jews or blacks? I can play your ethics game too.

bush supports the death penalty so you can forget any noble convictions about life he may have. Kerry said he may be catholic but he said will not legislate catholic belief. A president that can look beyond his own convictions for the choice of the people is a better president. You can put down Kerry to no end, thats fine, but the more you back up Bush the less respect I have for you. Don't be blind for the sake of arguement. Bush is not a good person and we both know it. I won't say Kerry is great, so don't argue with me by putting down Kerry. Give me something about bush that he doesn't paradox in his other choices. don't tell me he is prolife as he bombs countries and wants to implement the death penalty.

um, wow, could you be more rude? how human of you to respect someone's terrible murder by using it to make a point, but taking it ridiculously out of context.

thank you for not validating my response becasue no one fucking asked you too, and if you don't have anything constructive to say just don't say anything. but i'm sure you do have plenty of things to say to me, the horrible conservative. YOU DON'T KNOW ME. you have absolutely no clue about my stand on a million other things which lean left and not right. But you know what pisses me off? absolutely judgemental elitist bastards like yourself who don't care to converse or discuss, just pass judgement, condescend. you don't have time to ask about me or get to know me or even know why i feel or think the way i do about one issue or the other. no my view isn't like your view so fuck me because i am wrong. you are as intolerant as you think i must be. you are as ignorant as you think i must be and i am heartily sorry that we could not have had a more pleasant introduction.

i'm sorry, i just thought you could have used a better example to argue abortion rather than (1) bringing up a sickly over-publicized murder of a soon to be mother and relating it to abortion, and (2) just your last line about playing the ethics game with the deaths of soldiers, jews and blacks... like, what did mentioning that have anything to do with abortion? and if you think they're adequate examples to use, then that's just plain offensive.

i do apologize for not specifiying what i thought was a crock of shit and what wasn't. i'll spell it out a bit better the next time you quote fox news on me.

i think it is fairly obvious how it relates. if you murder a pregnant woman you are facing double homicide. if that same woman had chosen to terminate her child's life she would not be prosecuted. it is a double standard. how can we not mourn the loss of all the children who never get the chance at life, merely because their mother or father thought the were a mistake and a nuisance to their life. how can we be so compassionate and sympathetic in one area and not in others? i suppose the base of my query is the value of one life over another. that is what i meant by the comment about soldiers, and cultural groups. it upsets me that people use the right to life as their pawn in a political chess game. to me every life is precious, how can you decide which is worse a soldier's death or a child's or any other individual? gavin knew what i meant, and he knows exactly why i said it that way. the morality of either of the presidential candidates is questionable, i was just voicing my opinion that kerry's moral fiber is no stronger nor any better than bush's. i am however suggesting that america itself should take a look at it's moral fiber, i feel that as a whole we have become blase with responsibility, with honor, and with integrity.
