We tried and we failed.
No Bridget, we don't have to all be young democrats. I'm not a democrat. I hate both parties. I hate Bush more though. Kerry spent his life working hard for antiwar efforts and to stop war crimes. He served his country even though he did not want to. Maybe he is a dumbass crook and a bore, but at least he is slightly more intelligent and calculated in his efforts. Do we need a fun exciting president? Or is a bore with a good head on his shoulders better? Who knows.
Bush spent his life fucking around. He drank heavily and disappeared when his country needed him. I'm sure he is fun to party with. He runs the country with a stiff Christian hand, and expects us to join in on his sense of morals. He preaches God and signs away lives. I think its in one of those important commandments thou shalt not kill. Maybe there is fine print,
Thou shalt not kill!
"unless its for money, or the other guy doesn't agree with you, or you think I (god) told you to, or he has stuff you want, or they have brown skin, or they worship the wrong God, or really, thou shalt not kill unless you really really want to, then its ok"
Maybe Kerry is as much of a waste of time as Bush. But the president is not upholding my values in anyway I can see. If you see a way, let me know. America likes him because they are equally intelligent to him, he seems safe and friendly. Sure, he does have charisma. I'll say that. I don't even know where I'm going with this, it doesn't matter. My vote didn't even count. So fuck this I'm going to England or the Caribbean next year. Binet told me I should try to help the people Bush oppresses rather than leave. She is right, so if anyone needs to marry me and use me for my british citizenship/european union, just ask.
P.S. Did you guys know a guy got into Senate (or maybe it was house, i forget) who called his opponents, "crapheads" and pushes for the death penalty to women who have abortions and the doctors who perform them. He is Republican.
