Happier January: Crunch Time

Jan 14, 2025 20:07

I've been thinking about eating well today. After my morning fitness, I had a bowl of cereal, with some blueberries, but forgot to take a picture.

I then did soup from a tin, with a sausage roll, chips and a bought egg custard tart for lunch (came in my delivery; I had to run downstairs to let the man in, as he either didn't understand how to get in when I buzzed in or there was an issue with the system).

Dinner was sausages with cauliflower cheese, onion gravy, more chips, carrots and a tomato.

I'm not sure if I've mentioned this, but my oven and cooker have packed in, so I'm having to rely on my air fryer and microwave until I get a new one installed. I need to follow up on getting a quote sorted.

It's been a busy day, work-wise, with a deadline looming, so I only went out to visit the dentist. In the waiting room, I got a picture of the assortment of chairs for the photo_scavenger "chair" prompt.

I have now walked almost 9km for the Beat the Winter Blues challenge. On Strava, I have climbed 721m for the January Elevation Challenge, and logged just over 21 hours for the January Fresh Start Challenge.
