Optimistic October: Green Fingers
Today I'm doing some volunteering through work; I'll be spending much of the day planting bulbs in a garden; it will make a change from the usual day at work.
I'm thinking of three things that give me hope:
1) No evidence of any new strains of Coronavirus like some news reports claim, or need for new lockdowns;
2) The unlikelihood that Trump will get in for a second term, and that we will soon have Kamala Harris as US president; and
3) Thinking about Jesus and His promises.
Today, I start a new challenge on Strava: L'Oreal Men Expert "Run?" Challenge, which is to run or walk 5k (I think this has to be done as one single effort, for example a Parkrun).
