Self-Care September: ... But You're Still Important To Me

Sep 23, 2024 17:07

Just one of those days when I know others at work are hoping that I'll do this and that, but I know it's not immediately possible, just trying to let go of expectations when deciding what to prioritise. Yet, I still can't get over the knee jerk reaction of making way for others on my walk with Mum as soon as I see them coming towards us; it's an automatic thing for me. I wonder if I'm too soft on others at times.

A bit of boring day, really. I wonder if that assassination attempt on Trump really was a setup like the conspiracy theorists are claiming?

On Strava, I have:
* Completed Embrace the Elements by GOREWEAR;
* Logged 6 of 7 days for Get Outside with Montane & OS;
* Logged 1 of 3 activities for Week 4 of the September Streak Challenge; and
* Climbed 1,638m for the September Run Climbing Challenge.
