I enjoyed the gig last night; all my good pictures were of the last band, though there were some other good ones. Penultimate one was a slightly self-deprecating guy playing an electronic keyboard, who played humour-based songs, but who went on a little too long, when all I really wanted to do was go back to the brewery for more beers.
Here are some of the best shots.
Everyone gets a beer.
A man I recognised, because he works in a local shop.
I did a second recce for the same Stags walk today. Just trying to respond kindly to others, and to myself, so not getting down on myself when people don't reply to my texts, or when I say hello to someone, only to get no response, and the other person just seems stand-offish.
Just remembering that, as Mum says, there is a mixture of people out on walks, some who want to say hello, and others who just want to keep to themselves.
Despite a few fallen trees, the recce went well; I did manage to say hello to people, and just remembered to be grateful when drivers made way for me, that ever-unexpected moment that catches me off guard, and sometimes tempts me to react wrong, as I think the driver is getting impatient with me.
On Strava, I have completed GetPRO's Olympic Games Ticket Challenge, and a new challenge, Le Col Form Finder Challenge (log 3 hours, 20 minutes of activity). I have climbed 622m for the February Running Elevation Challenge.
