Altruistic August: Spare

Aug 30, 2023 17:40

I have no need for this water bottle, now that I've got a couple of nicer ones, so I've been trying to give it away.

I managed to make a hole in a pair of jeans on Saturday, it isn't great to wear anymore, but maybe someone else would like it.

I dreamt last night that a woman was telling us all about how Jesus was returning "in 33 seconds". I didn't believe her until suddenly, a pane in the window nearby went black, and all I could see was a man who introduced Himself as Jesus, although I was confused at first, mostly because He was sporting a mullet.

He started handing around some sort of chocolate punch, which tasted nice - like Irish cream liqeur.

The dream ended up involving this sort of post-apocalyptic world, with Star Wars like ships battling overhead. I started to wonder if this was Heaven, and then worry it was Hell. I was calling out to Jesus, asking Him for guidance. I could hear Jesus replying, but wanted Him to appear to me in person. I was in a strange place; saw someone through a door, but this person couldn't see me, and I was waiting for them to come out, hoping this was Jesus. There also seemed to be a man almost next to me, who seemed oblivious to my presence. While I waited for Jesus to show, my alarm went off and woke me up.

I don't often have those kind of vivid dreams anymore.

On Strava, I have now logged:
* 11km for the CamelBak Redefine Limits Run Challenge; and
* 621m of climbing for the Brooks GOAT Challenge.
