Jump Back Up July: Summer Outside? Seems like a Joke Today
In all honesty, I intended to have a walk this morning, but then realised that people were trying to clean out in the hallways; seemed that they'd bought forward the scheduled cleaning, so I decided to let them to it and not walk through their hard work.
It had started to rain by the time I finally got out to try and clear my head; it wasn't nice. So much for our new "Summer Outside" photo challenge!
This morning, the postman knocked on my door - he couldn't deliver a parcel to my new neighbour's flat. I've seen her in passing, but not really spoken much. She came round later, and said she recognises me from Stag Walkers; turns out she walked with us last Autumn (small world). I guess that solves the mystery of who took one of our walk programmes from downstairs. I let her know about my next evening walk, which is coming up next week.
Looks like I've volunteered to organise a social in a few weeks' time, if I can get it done promptly.
On Strava, I have started a new challenge: R.A.D® "Shoe Addict" Challenge; due to the poor weather outside, I have only walked 1km of 20km. Tomorrow I start The Design Your SunGods Challenge, which requires 1 hour of activity.
Wonder if Liverpool can keep Hendo; I've been hearing the transfer rumours.
